Tracey | 5 | We stayed at campsite 11. Large camping area consisting of several levelled sites staggered across the slope. Large level area with camp fire pit, over looks the dam but has high edges so not really good for trailers/vans, swags or tents would be fine, we used our gazebo here and put the caravan on the larger site. Composting toilet at entrance no noticeable smell, (watch for spiders etc under seat!) we preferred to use our caravan toilet. Dam would be great for kayak etc, not good for swimming access due to lily pads/reeds etc. we tried some fishing, no luck but did see lots of beautiful rainbow fish. Amazing sunsets from a short track to the right of bottom of camp ground. Nice and quiet no viewable neighbours, respectful of privacy, love the rules to protect this! Nothing worse than dogs, motorbikes, parties, 4wd-s roaring around etc. definitely stay here again! | medium-caravan | Perfect | Its one of the best |
Rebecca | 4 | Lovely private spot. Pretty views over lake. Good for a group of campers. Can hear passing/nearby cars driving around. Great, level space for trailer. |
medium-trailer | Perfect for what we needed | Its better than most |
Amanda | 4 | Loved it. Easy access to water. Level, drive-through areas cleared for camping. Being on the lake was great for our kids. Not much shade at cleared areas for camping , but plenty close by to sit during middle of day. Lovely sunset. Great communal fire pit. Pontoon on lake great for the kids. Easy access & easy to find site. Could have a large group here, individual camp areas far enough apart. Reeds/lilypads mean you can’t really swim close to shore, so maybe not suitable for smaller kids, but didn’t bother our teens. Very few creepy crawlies, mozzies one night for short period but wasn’t too much trouble. Those big ants a bit annoying, but soon learned to keep food boxes off the ground & it was fine then. |
large-trailer,medium-tent,medium-caravan | No concerns. Easy access, drive though. We all had 4wd, but could get to this site in sedan. Various sizes of cleared areas. Toilet maybe a bit close to end site if you had a big group & needed to use that area. No shade at camping areas, but not much can be done about that, wasnt too bad this time of year. | Its better than most |
anonymous | 5 | very private and you can relax. amazing sunset view next to the lake | medium-tent,small-trailer | set up was very nice and all required information was sent in emails | Its one of the best |
Darrell | 3 | Very private and facilities were good. Was woken by someone driving around late night early morning. Disappointed in weed and lily pads which consumed our shore line as kids couldn’t fish or swim close to camp. | medium-trailer,medium-tent | Was woken by someone driving around late night early morning. Disappointed in weed and lily pads which consumed our shore line as kids couldn’t fish or swim close to camp. Maybe an area close to shore cleared for swimming and fishing before summer would make it perfect. | Its average |
