One of our new sites, Camp 10 is the most private site on Emerald Creek. Situated on the high bank it overlooks the creek.
A short path leads down to the creek where you will find rapids, water holes and one of the biggest pools along the 3km of river inside of our property.
Size: Large camp site with about 700 square meters of level ground.
Areas A (~650 sqm) is on the high bank and overlooks Emerald creek
Area B is only about 10-15 sqm, but makes for a very shady spot to hang out at the table we provide (bring your own chairs)
Area C (50 sqm) is an additional level area for those who want to be a bit further away from the rest.
Access: 4WD, medium RV, medium caravans and trailers, all with medium clearance
Occupancy: Basic fee includes 5 adults.
Suggested occupancy up to 30 people and 6 vehicles.
Privacy: ~600m from closest road and very well hidden, ~330m from closest camp site (all as the crow flies), one of our most private sites

NOTES: above prices are per night and include any applicable loading or discount.
The base rate includes 5 adults or child equivalents (or 7.5 adults for long weekends or 10 adults for Easter)

A Bond of $100 or 30% of camping fee will also be charged, which is refundable if Terms and Code of Conduct are adhered to and no littering occurs.

It felt very inviting, the creek was STUNNING – and was nice and shallow for our young boys (8, 6 and even 8 month old in his walkie!). During the heat of the day, the campsite itself was very very hot – unbearable if you didn’t have a gazebo – text was toooo hot. Though this was complimented by the creek beds which had plenty of room and shade to move down there. |

It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The toilet was the perfect distance away and very handy. The creek was the most beautiful amazing creek I’ve honestly ever seen. We took kids kayaks and they kayaked in the shallow parts and had the best time. The creek is a very short walk down the bank which was amazing for the kids as they couldn’t just accidentally fall in but it was still only maybe 20metres away from the campsite. |

We spent most of our time down at the creek, kids in the creek and off on adventures, parents just enjoying the feeling of being removed from time. The camp site itself was a nice flat area, both of our groups had camper trailers so it was great to have a bit of flat ground. We feel you probably couldn’t comfortably fit too many more campers on this site than what we had. We do trips with our family and often have 3-5 vehicles and I think it would be too small to accommodate us all. The bull dust was not ideal, but kinda hard to avoid with high use areas and getting into the dry season. Clean and well maintained site. Toilet is a fantastic addition! We have a compost loo at home but have never heard to used lime, we will need to look into it, so cheers for bringing this to our attention. All in all, great spot and our family is looking forward to coming back again 🙂 |

I reckon we’d get our small off-road van in there, next time perhaps.. toilet is not that far away from the campsite making those midnight walks to the toilet less daunting. The bird life is amazing. Laying in bed as the sun rises listening to the birds and the creek was so relaxing. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights, could have easily stayed a week. |
